Seasons

Rv-Akindebe

Children of God,

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven:

A time to be born and a time to die;

A time to plant and a time to pluck what is planted;

A time to kill and a time to heal;

A time to break down and a time to build up;

A time to weep and a time to laugh;

A time to mourn and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones;

A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to gain and a time to lose;

A time to keep and a time to throw away;

A time to tear and a time to sew;

A time to keep silence and a time to speak;

A time to love and a time to hate;

A time of war and a time of peace. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)

Wherever you find yourself this season, whether it is sowing or reaping, gaining or losing, at war or at peace, mourning or dancing, weeping or laughing, God is in control. He has not let go of the reins of your life!

When we do not understand or discern the time we are in and our season, we can become frustrated, impatient and at worst resentful. And there is one thing about resentment, it comes in quietly and before you know it, you have become jealous or critical of others. Particularly those you believe you should have been ahead of!

That’s why this week inspiration is in the form of a prayer, that encourages us to be like the sons of Issachar that are found in 1 Chronicles 12:32, because they understood the times and knew what Israel ought to do.

My prayer for you this week is that you would understand the time and season that you are in. I pray that you would know what you ought to do in your business, family, marriage, home, churches, ministries and friendships.

Just as we are embracing the start of a new natural season in the form of fall/winter, I pray that you will embrace a new supernatural season in your life that will also bring you warmth, joy, longer days, lighter paths that add color and vibrancy to your walk with God!

For truly I DO BELIEVE THAT THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

God bless you and be encouraged!

CHURCH SAY WITH ME: HAPPY THANKSGIVING (MOOD & FESTIVITIES) IN CHRIST JESUS. AMEN.

  1. Nice post. I learn something harder on various blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content off their writers and practice something at their store. I’d want to use some while using content on my blog pay to write my assignment of whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll offer you a link on your internet weblog. Thanks for sharing.
